This is a Motorcycle association that is growing rapidly in the Florida Region, 17 Chapters in all for Florida alone. L.A.M.A. was established in 1977 by Mario Nieves,a lone chapter in Chicago for some time it was destined to snowball into what is now the largest motorcycle association representing the Latin American community But More importantly we represent the American Rider, we are a diverse group, we have all nationalities among our ranks and we are so broad that we have chapters in Puerto Rico, Venezuela, Mexico,Germany, Brazil, Spain, Australia, Italy and many more. Joining up with us in no small feat we are Motorcycle riders, not owners and if you dont know the difference we would be happy to share it over a cup of cafe, we ride long distances as well as locally and get together several times a week. we are inseparable as a chapter and we welcome every new member with the zeal and love that LAMA has to offer. If your a sports-bike rider dont be scared off by the long distance riding we stop frequently for your benefit for stetching and resting, evey LAMA chapter has several sports bike in it and Central Florida has a chapter dedicated specifically for sports bikes, although you dont have to join it if you dont want to travel there to meet up, your local chapter has just as much fun!! L.A.M.A. cherishes the freedom that Motorcycle riding affords the avid rider, and we live our life accordingly, we require that you be able to attend 1 meeting and 1 ride whether it be local or long distance per month as per the by-laws. we also play an important role in our communities that have chapters currently in them.
